Physician Assistant & Nurse Practitioner – Urgent Care & Workers Comp (San Bernardino, CA)

West Point Medical Center and West Point Medical Group is seeking a Physician Assistant & Nurse Practitioner to join our San Bernardino urgent care and family practice team. The ideal candidate is confident in treating patients of all ages, handling urgent medical needs, and managing work-related exams including pre-employment physicals and DOT physicals.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments
Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (X-rays, EKGs, labs)
Perform minor procedures (suturing, splinting, wound care, incision & drainage)
Prescribe medications per state regulations
Collaborate with supervising physicians and team members
Document all patient encounters accurately in EMR
Diagnosis and treatment of work-related injuries and physicals

Qualifications

Current CA Physician Assistant & Nurse Practitioner license
NCCPA certification required
Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or Family Practice experience preferred
Workers Comp experience preferred
Experience with Workers Comp cases a plus
DOT certification required (WPMC reimburses cost if obtained within 30 days)
Strong decision-making and communication skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach

Job Details

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $135,000 – $160,000 per year
