Francisco Merino, D.O.
Board Certified Family Practice Physician
Dr. Francisco Merino in 1996 earned his B.S. in Biochemistry with a Chemistry emphasis, from the University of California, Riverside. He attended Western University of Health Sciences where he received his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine in 2003.
After graduating from Western University, Dr. Merino completed his Rotating Internship and Family Practice Residency at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, in San Bernardino County in 2007. He is also a Certified Physician and Surgeon Licensed by the California Osteopathic Medical Board. He is also certified in Family Practice by the America Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP). He is a member of American Osteopathic Association, Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of California and the Western University Alumni Association.
Dr. Merino takes a comprehensive approach when treating his patients. In addition to health screening, identifying health issues, and managing risk factors, he understands the important role that mind, diet and lifestyle plays in regards to health. As a result he practices preventive medicine and treats the whole person as opposed to individual symptoms. Dr. Merino’s ability to speak Spanish fluently allows him to work closely with Spanish speaking patients who are less familiar with the English Language.
At West Point Medical Center, Dr. Merino also provides a variety of aesthetic and corrective skin treatment including Laser Hair Removal, Laser Peels, Photo-Rejuvenation, Botox, and Juvederm Ultra and Ultra Plus.
